Hi all
I have been waiting for my Haynes manual to arrive (ordered from Amazon) - seems to have been lost in the postal service..in desperation I found The BMW Technical Information Software (TIS) on a site called www.emanualonline.com (for around R100).
This appears quite a comprehensive collection of service information, workshop manuals, torque settings etc for many BMW models (up to about 2006) including models such as 1series E87, 3series E30, 36, 46, 83, 90, 91, 92 5series E34, 39, 53, 60, 61 6Series E63, 64, 7Series E32, 38, 65, 66 8Series E31, 52 MSeries R50, 52, 53 and ZSeries E85, 86.
May be worth a look for anyone searching for more technical info. It's quite a large .ISO download (around 1Gb) and the installation is rather complicated.
